Baby turtle

Remember the nesting turtles? Well, I haven't seen any of those nests disturbed, but look what D found about a week ago...

That's a dime for scale!

Just what is the Cult of Domesticity?

"The Cult of Domesticity was a prevailing view among middle and upper class white women during the nineteenth century. Okay...so I don't really fit that mold, being a highly independent woman, but I remembered the term from college and thought it would make a good blog title since I'm a new wife and homeowner!
