I have a niece!
D and I are the proud aunt and uncle of 6 nephews, and now we have a niece. My sister gave birth to MLR (initials) last night at 10:10 after only about 4 hours of labor. I'm hoping I'll be as lucky!
Oh, and post birth my sister weighed in at 9lbs LESS than she did at her first pre-natal OB appointment. I guess that's what heppens when you're running around after a 6 year old and a 4 year old while pregnant! (She also felt pretty yucky throughout the pregnancy which also contributed to the weight issues).

I was 14 hours total from the start of my contractions until he was born. And it was my first...so you can be just as lucky!
